New In Role – Virtual roundtable for tech leaders

Community Event

Online
29 April 2021
6pm - 8pm

How can tech  leaders make the most of their first year in role?

Hosted by Lyn Grobler, Group CIO at Howden Group and Ian Sheen, Strategy and Transformation Lead at Telstra Purple.

Why attend?

We know that starting a new tech leadership role can be daunting. You’re under pressure to make an impact fast and have to balance the business’ priorities with personal goals, which can be difficult when building relationships from scratch.

The New in Role Virtual Roundtables provide an opportunity for tech leaders to hear the experiences of their peers and discuss their current challenges in a safe and congenial environment. Come prepared to share: bring along your tips and best practices, and benefit from the power of collective wisdom.

Themes for discussion will include:

  • What one tactic has made the biggest positive impact in your early days?
  • What strategies did you use to build internal and external relationships quickly?
  • How did you align your plans to the wider strategy of your new organisation?

There are only 12 places available so please register your interest early.
